Bridging to Brownies

June 2015 ~ Bridging with her troup
At the end of June, L went from a Daisy to a Brownie.  We all attended her bridging ceremony.  It was the sweetest thing and we all got to participate.

Saying their oath.
"Cross your little fingers, stand upon your toes,
That’s a bit of magic every Girl Scout Brownie knows.
Now we all are standing in a forest glad
Listen very carefully;see the magic made.
Open your eyes
Here we are in the big woods, before you is a pond.
Here you can almost hear the Wise Old Owl
And the frinds of which your're fond."

Looking pond.
"Twist me and turn me and show me the elf,
I looked in the water and saw myself.”

Walking the bridge to get her Brownie sash and pin.  The pin is to go on upside down until L does three good acts.  Then it's flipped right side up.

A little someone had to get in on the act as well.

End of the school year means end of Daisy....Brownies start in the fall.
