The Sillies

It was a FULL Thanksgiving {weekend}.  We headed to Maine and had dinner with both families.  The first three photos are of the "Sillies" on Thanksgiving day.  They enjoyed just being silly with one another.  As always L would not part-take even when the kids tried to coax her.

L got in {the below} photo when I sat next to her.  Can you see my arm on her lap?!?  The photo was taken on Saturday before my Father's remembrance started.  It's probably a 1/4 of the younger nieces, nephews, and second cousin.

L loves when we shop at Sudbury Farms because she gets her own cart and gets to unload it.Published with Blogger-droid v1.6.4

Under the Weather

L was under the weather yesterday so we spent the whole day at home.   We played, read books, watched t.v. and baked cupcakes for Daddy. Before dinnner we built this lovely leaning castle.  At bedtime, L wanted to pick the whole thing up and bring it with her to bed.

Would you think this child was sick...all smiles after her cupcake or should I say her frosting.

Ong Noi's Birthday

L & Ba Noi baking Ong Noi a cake

Today is Ong Noi’s birthday…Happy Birthday Ong Noi! L and I drove up to Maine Thursday night to celebrate with him. L and Ba Noi baked Ong Noi a cake on Saturday and we went to dinner Saturday. It was a fantastic meal. L ordered her own meal…steak.

L loves to line things up and serve us spagetti

L loves to play "in her room."  She kept saying, "Emmitt sleep in my room" and Emmitt on my bed."
On Saturday L, Ba Noi and I went to the At Once All Agog where L used a doll carriage as her shopping cart.   She filled it will all the toys she wanted.

It's a full cart

L had her swim lesson Sunday and then we planned our day…grocery shop, library, car ride and bake cookies for Daddy. The ride in the plan was so L could get a nap. Around 2PM L and I went for a ride so she can have a power nap. We ended in Wellesley and came across some ducks. L had to get out of the car to see them and I had to tell her to not get too close. She w…

Mary Had a Little Man

L was a just a bit excited about swim lessons Sunday....she's already.  She didn't want to wait for us.  She got her bathing suit on with a, "I do" and then got her boots on {on the wrong feet}.   It didn't matter that it was 40 degrees coat was needed.

The day followed with L singing, "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" and "Mary Had a Little Man."

Trick or Treat

L loved passing out candy on Halloween.

She's saying, "I put it here for kids."  There was at least one child who said, "Trick or Treat," but many did not.  L's at the age {I'm sure with many more years to come} where we are thinking kids say the darnest things.

This video is definitely a TREAT!

Halloween Weekend

10.30.10 ~ Wholefood, L's new dramatic express...her hands at her face
This weekend was mostly about Halloween…the costumes, treats (to L it’s CHOCOLATES), trick or treat and Happy Halloween.L really understood the concept of trick or treating this year. While she was so shy and you could barely hear her she did it and even said, “the kids didn’t say it.”This was referring to the fact that most of the kids did not say trick or treat when they came to the door.{I should post the video, it’s classic.}L understood you had to go to the doors, knock and say, “trick or treat” in order to get candy. She was adorable in her costume saying she would get chocolate at the door.
L was {as always} was quite distracted by other things

Coffee was needed after Wholefoods, on our way to the coffee shop
I say mostly about Halloween because this weekend a lot more than Halloween. L is REALLY.GROWING into herself and at times Dave and I struggled with her. She’s become more dramatic and Dave and I ask each…
